Virtual Session

A 2 credit-hour online session in which SMC staff uses purposely designed simulation vignettes that serve as a background for guided discussion and debriefing techniques to guide medical teams through emergency response scenarios.

Fundamentals

 An 8-credit hour curriculum that emphasizes opportunities for critical care skill review and rehearsal before moving into basic simulation-based training experiences. Basic simulation focuses on providing HQ-BLS care with limited resources and integration with EMS.

Advanced Track

A 6 credit-hour curriculum designed specifically for multi-sport & multi-venue institutions with a focus on critical care skill rehearsal, clinical decision making, and full scale advanced simulation experiences.  Advanced simulation focuses on venue specific HQ-BLS care and integration with EMS.

Master Class

A 4 credit-hour curriculum that emphasizes practical application of emergency response skills and clinical decision making using full scale mastery level simulation experiences. Master class simulation focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration and venue-specific response in a resource rich environment.

Capstone

This 4-Hour experience is designed to help ensure students are ready to apply critical care competencies in the high profile and demanding environment starting their first day on the job.
